That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Air Duct Cleaning Before & After in Dallas, TX
Every duct system we open tells a story. Most of them are the same story: years of dust, pet hair, drywall grit, and the occasional surprise that makes a homeowner raise an eyebrow. We take photos because we think you should see what we saw before you spend a dime. The work is in the evidence. Here are a few recent transformations from homes around Dallas, written by Dale Whitmore and the Kestrel crew.

Twelve Years of Dust in a Preston Hollow Return
Before
After
Before
AfterThe problem → what we did → the result. The homeowner mentioned the return grille looked “fuzzy” from the hallway. Inside, the duct walls wore a felt-thick layer of dust and dog hair that had been recirculating through the house every time the AC kicked on. We ran our Rotobrush rotary brush system down the full return run to agitate the debris off the walls, then connected the Nikro negative-pressure unit at the register to pull everything out of the house. The Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration sat in the hallway, catching loosened particles instead of letting them drift into the living room. Afterward, the metal was bare to the touch, and the homeowner said the hallway smelled neutral for the first time in years.
Post-Renovation Drywall Dust in an East Dallas Split
Before
After
The problem → what we did → the result. A kitchen remodel in East Dallas left the ductwork carrying fine white powder through every room. Every flat surface in the house wore a fresh coat of drywall dust within a week, and the homeowner was running the HVAC fan constantly just to push it around. We treated this as a full contamination job: brush agitation on all supply runs, negative-air extraction at each register, and a HEPA-filtered air scrubber running in the main living area while we worked. The written price covered everything before we started, and the homeowner called back a week later to say the dust had stopped reappearing on the countertops.
Pet Hair and Lint Plug in a Richardson Bedroom Trunk Line

The problem → what we did → the result. Two golden retrievers and a long-haired cat had turned this Richardson duct system into an extension of the grooming table. The bedroom at the end of the trunk line was getting almost no airflow, and the register smelled faintly of wet dog. We found the restriction: a dense plug of hair and lint at a bend in the trunk line, thick enough to be peeled off in strips. The Rotobrush head broke up the mat, the Nikro unit pulled it out under negative pressure, and the HEPA filtration kept the dander from recirculating into the occupied rooms. The homeowner’s daughter, who had been sneezing through the night, slept through the following week without a problem.
Mold-Smelling Flex Duct in a Plano Hallway Run

The problem → what we did → the result. A musty smell in the hallway led us to a flex duct run that had been absorbing bathroom humidity for over a decade. The interior lining was coated in a paste of dust and moisture residue, and the smell was noticeable the moment we opened the register. We agitated the lining with the Rotobrush to lift the buildup, extracted everything with the Nikro negative-pressure unit, and ran our HEPA filtration in the hallway to keep any loosened particles out of the home’s air. The homeowner said the smell was gone within a day, and the written Kingswell Guarantee covered the work.
Fireplace Ash Circulated Through a North Dallas System

The problem → what we did → the result. A North Dallas homeowner ran their fireplace all winter and left the HVAC fan on to spread the warmth. The system returned the favor by spreading fine ash through every supply register in the house. We found a gray film on the duct walls and a lingering smoke smell that activated every time the heat cycled. The Rotobrush worked the ash off the metal, the Nikro negative-air unit pulled it out of the house, and the HEPA filter on our Abatement Technologies unit kept the fine particles from resettling on the furniture. The homeowner’s white sofa finally stayed white.
Studio Apartment Return Packed with Years of Dust in Uptown Dallas
The problem → what we did → the result. A small Uptown Dallas apartment had not seen a duct cleaning since the building opened. The single return near the air handler was pulling against a wall of packed dust, which forced the system to work harder and deliver less air to the single bedroom. We cleared the return with brush agitation and negative-air extraction, which immediately improved the airflow at the one register that served the entire unit. The tenant reported the AC finally reached the temperature on the thermostat without running nonstop, and the landlord approved the job at the written price before we began.
