Meet the Dallas Team Behind Kestrel Air Duct Dallas

Marcus T. – Lead Technician

Marcus has been running duct cleaning crews for 14 years, the last six of them with Kestrel Air Duct Dallas. He holds an NADCA certification in air systems cleaning and specializes in negative-air extraction on homes with older, undersized returns, which he says make up about half the Dallas houses he sees. He’s the guy who walks the crawlspace before the hose comes off the truck, because he’s learned the hard way that what’s in the plans and what’s under the floor aren’t always the same thing. Dale calls him the human blueprint. Marcus calls himself methodical. His wife calls him late for dinner at least twice a month because he stayed to re-walk a finished job.

Raymond P. – Senior Installer, Dryer Vent Specialist

Raymond has spent 11 years doing one thing better than almost anyone: making dryer vents move air the way they were designed to. He specializes in lint trap bypass work and long-run vent systems, the kind where a dryer exhaust has to travel 25 feet before it sees daylight. He’s the technician we send when a Dallas homeowner says the dryer takes two cycles to dry a load and the vent hasn’t been touched in a decade. Raymond holds a Texas air conditioning and refrigeration contractor certification and keeps a lint sample jar in the truck. Not for show. Off the clock, he coaches youth basketball in Oak Cliff.

Lena S. – Service Coordinator

Lena is the voice most customers hear first, and she’s been answering the phone at Kestrel Air Duct Dallas since 2019. She’ll also tell you, plainly, whether your ducts sound like they need a complete cleaning or just a checkup. No upselling. That’s a Kingswell rule, and she enforces it harder than anyone.

Devon W. – Apprentice Technician

Devon joined the crew in 2023 and is the newest member of the Kestrel Air Duct Dallas team, though he’d been working in HVAC-adjacent jobs for three years before that. He’s currently training under Marcus on brush agitation methods and learning the Rotobrush system on every job he rides along for. His specialty so far is filter replacement and identifying airflow restrictions, the less glamorous work that keeps ducts from choking up between cleanings. Devon is the one who double-checks every vent cover before the team packs up, because a vent put back wrong is a callback waiting to happen. He’s originally from Mesquite and spends his weekends helping his dad restore a 1972 Ford pickup that, by his own estimate, will be finished sometime around his retirement.
